Proof of Identification you must bring to your Award for Professional Investigators exam
The invigilator on the day of the exam is duty bound to reject any candidate who does not supply the required identification. All candidates attending the Award for Professional Investigators exam must supply the following PHOTOS, PHOTO ID & PAPER ID:
TOP TIP: Ensure your passport sized photographs are clear and in Focus.
Our invigilator will require two. Keep the remaining photo’s for your S.I.A. application for your licence. “Odd” / “Mismatched” photos are being rejected.
PHOTOS: Identical passport sized photographs – we must be able to identify you from the photographs supplied, make sure you are in colour, in focus, taken very recently, not wearing sunglasses, hats, etc…
PHOTO ID: Bring at least one form of identity with your photograph and with your date of birth, such as: A signed valid passport, a UK photo driving licence (Both parts of the full or provisional licence), or a UK birth Certificate issued within 12 months of birth (Not a photocopy).
Learners must present:
Two identity documents from group A. At least one document must show your current address and at least one document must show your date of birth.
Or
One identity document from group A and two documents from group B. At least one document must show your current address and at least one document must show your date of birth.

If you have a valid / current passport (UK or any nationality) and a signed valid / current UK photo driving licence + 2 passport size photos you don’t need any other documents.
Arrive, at least 20 minutes before your exam is scheduled to start – so that your photo ID and paper ID can be scrutinised.
